We are just over 3 weeks away from Staff Training, and we can hardly wait to see you! We know that final projects, papers, and tests are one of the only things standing in between you and Staff Training. Please know that we think of you and pray for you often- we are your biggest fans as you finish up the school year STRONG!
We wanted to provide you with some super important reminders to ensure you are FULLY prepared for Staff Training:
1- Buy a Trunk HERE
2- Fill out ALL paperwork
3- Staff Training Reminders:
- If you are driving, you MUST be dropped off between 1-2:30 on Friday, May 26
- You MUST bring documents to complete your I9 forms (this can be your passport OR your Driver’s License AND social security card/birth certificate)
- You MUST arrive within appearance guidelines – linked HERE
4- Learn ALL Material
5- Begin praying for your team specifically!
Packing/Trunk
You are REQUIRED to pack for the whole summer in a trunk. You may bring a duffle as well, but that should be packed inside of your trunk upon arrival at staff training. This will allow rooms for items you will acquire throughout the summer (trust us, you’ll want to leave it empty). Below is an extensive packing list and some frequently asked questions regarding packing. Please reach out to your Camp Director if you have any other questions regarding packing!:

Staff Training Week!!
As a reminder, Staff Training Week is from May 26-June 1. At the conclusion of Staff Training Week, you will travel with your team to your first week of camp! While at Staff Training, you will have opportunities to bond with your team, practice skills and pack track, see a FULL day of camp, and make memories that will last a lifetime! Here are some important reminders that you MUST know:
Travel to Staff Training:
1- Flyers: You will receive an email with your flight information in the next week (if you have not already). There will be a Connect Camps shuttle that will meet you at baggage claim and take you to Staff Training Week!
2- Drivers: You MUST be dropped off at Impact 360 in Pine Mountain, Ga between. Check In is from 1-2:30pm on Friday, May 26. The address is 100 Impact Circle Pine Mountain, Ga 31822.
Leadership Team Arrival:
Camp Directors and Production Directors: Your arrival will be on May 23 from 12:30-1pm
Office Directors, Crew Directors, Rec Directors, and Camp Pastors: Your arrival will be on May 24 from 1-2pm
Paperwork:
Upon arrival at Staff Training, you will need to complete your I-9 forms. To complete these, you MUST bring one of the following documents:
1- Passport
OR
2- Driver’s License AND Social Security Card
Preparation:
ALL MATERIAL IS LIVE ON THE STAFF HUB! It is the expectation that you come to Staff Training Week knowing your pack track material, skill material, and motions. There will not be time at Staff Training to learn your material, but it will be all about hands-on practice! Please see the checklists below to ensure you know exactly what you are responsible for learning. Reach out to your Camp Director if you have any additional questions!

Appearance Guidelines:
You MUST be abiding by appearance guidelines upon arrival at Staff Training Week. These are linked HERE. Reach out to your Camp Director or the Staff Team if you have any questions about these.
Disconnect to Connect:
We believe that cell phones are the largest distraction that we all face today. To ensure that we are fully focused during Staff Training Week and each day of camp, you will turn in your phones on Saturday, May 27 and it will be returned to you on Thursday, June 1 and will not have access to your phone for the duration of Staff Training Week. Your Camp Director will have their phones for emergencies, should anyone need to get in contact with you while you are at Staff Training Week. Additionally, you will not have your phone during the Camp Day from around 7:30am-6pm. You will have access to your phone each evening and all weekend long.
May Reading Plan!
Ensuring that you are spending time in the Word is CRUCIAL to a successful summer. We have built a plan for you to read a different passage each day in the month of May to care for your Spiritual Wellness; many of these passages will seem familiar because they relate back to our theme for this summer: LVD.
You have the opportunity to teach campers about a God who LOVES them and it is crucial that you are reflecting on these truths in your own personal quiet time each day. Our home office team is following this plan as well, and since you are a part of the Connect family, we encourage you to do the same! Your Camp Director will be sending a prayer calendar specifically for your team in your GroupMe as well.
