We hope your Christmas was restful, and oh so fun! We are so glad you got the opportunity to rest and take a (well-deserved) break from school to spend with your friends and family! It’s 2024 so you know what that means… CAMP IS THIS YEAR!!! Camp may or may not be on your radar yet, but we are always thinking of YOU, our remarkable staff.

DIRECTOR’S WEEKEND: JANUARY 19th-21st
Each Connect Camps team is led by a Camp Director! Training for Camp Directors begin this month!! Keep these six Camp Directors in your prayers as they learn the ins + outs of their job and as the Lord prepares them to lead this summer.

CONNECT GATHERING: JANUARY 22-26
At the end of this month, all of our church hosts will gather in Pine Mountain, GA as they begin preparation for Connect Camps in their community!! They will learn marketing strategies, fundraising, and even how to care for YOU, our Summer Staff!

Each of our camp teams are also served by a Leadership team! We have chosen our 2024 Leadership teams and we are SO EXCITED to reveal them to you so soon! SUMMER STAFF NEWS:
PAPERWORK: Each summer staffer is required to sign their contract, complete medical forms, complete the Staff Information Form, obtain an up-to-date Ministry Safe certification (these are valid for 2 years after initial completion). Check out thesse checklists below to ensure that you are up to date on all things paperwork!

As you heard in the December news letter, Connect Camps cares deeply for you. We are committed to care for you all summer long, and we do this through the “Staff Wellness Plan.” There are four parts to the Staff Wellness plan
- Mental Wellness
- Spiritual Wellness
- Physical Wellness
- Social Wellness
In the upcoming months we will be diving deeper into what each part of the Staff Wellness means. Stay tuned for our February newsletter to learn more about what Mental Wellness means ot us! We care about YOU and annot wait to care for you all summer long!!!
