Happy February Summer Staff!
Camp may feel far away, but January was jam-packed with excitement as we continue to countdown to summer! With every event, and every announcement this month, YOU were on our minds!

DIRECTOR’S TRAINING!
Early last month, our 5 camp directors were able to learn how to lead and serve YOU well all summer. They are remarkable leaders, and we cannot wait for you to get to know them!
CONNECT GATHERING!
Just a couple of weeks ago, all 40 of our church hosts gathered in a room and dreamed of what the Lord is going to do through Connect Camps this summer. They learned how to market camp, how to reach families in their communities, and even how to serve YOU, our Summer Staff! They are leaders in ministry, and we are thrilled to walk alongside them all year long! Here’s a little look at all of the action.

Come join us at our brand NEW office in Watkinsville, Ga for a free lunch and fun hangs with all of the Connect Ministries team! The dates and details are as follows:

Why? We want to care for your physical wellness by providing a free meal, and we really want to get to know YOU!
Our next lunch is THIS FRIDAY, February 10! Our whole team will be celebrating the Lord’s faithfulness at Connect Gathering just a couple of weeks ago, and we’d love for you to join!
STAFF MATCH!
Are you dying to find out which team you are on this summer? Are you wondering where you’ll be headed with your new best friends in a 15 passenger van this summer? Well start the countdown, because Staff Match is COMING!!
THURSDAY, MARCH 30 @ 6PM
At Connect Camps, we like to celebrate, and there are two ways that you can celebrate Staff Match with us
1. At Our Office in Watkinsville!! We will have free food, giveaways, and you will be able to meet some of your team in person! RSVP HERE!
2. Virtually! Be on the lookout for a link to join the celebration from anywhere in the world and maybe even some watch parties in your area!
PHYSICAL WELLNESS
As you heard in our January Newsletter Video, Connect Camps cares deeply for you, our Summer Staff, throughout the whole summer. We call this the “Staff Wellness Plan,” as we care for the 4 pillars of your wellness:
1. Mental Wellness
2. Spiritual Wellness
3. Physical Wellness
4. Social Wellness
One way to ensure that we are able to care for your physical wellness is the Staff Information Form that allows you to give us any of your favorite snacks, favorite drinks, and even ways that YOU rest! This information is crucial as our Camp Directors and Church Hosts build out a plan to care for you physically all summer long!**

**Pro tip: we will reference these answers all summer long, so give some options on those favorite snack/favorite drink questions! This helps us ensure that we aren’t providing you with just one snack option all summer 😉

We are proud to be your teammates, and we are eagerly anticipating what the Lord will do through you this summer. But for now, we are cheering you on in the midst of projects, papers, jobs, ministry involvement, and so much more! Let us know if there is ever anything that we can do for you, or specific things that we can be praying for you.
