Hey Summer Staff,
We hope you had a restful Thanksgiving break with your friends and family! We are so thankful for you and your commitment to serve with Connect this Summer! There are so many ways you could spend your summer and we are honored and thrilled that you have decided to serve with us!!
Last year, Connect Ministries family took part in Giving Tuesday, and we were so proud to include so many of you in it! Because of the generosity of those within the Connect Ministries family, and even the generosity of those outside the Connect Ministries family, we raised a grand total of $12,392.98! That’s 51 camper scholarships!

Staff Wellness Plan
At Connect Camps, we prioritize our Summer Staff throughout the entire year, but we especially prioritize our Summer Staff during the summer! Our team of camp experts has carefully crafted a plan with YOU in mind to ensure that you are at your best all summer long! We call this plan the Staff Wellness Plan. There are four pillars to the Staff Wellness Plan:
1- Physical Wellness
2- Social Wellness
3- Spiritual Wellness
4- Mental Wellness

Paperwork
Each summer staffer is required to sign their contract, complete medical forms, complete the Staff Information Form, obtain an up-to-date Ministry Safe certification (these are valid for 2 years after initial completion). Check out these checklists below to ensure that you are up to date on all things paperwork!
If you complete it by December 31st you will receive an exclusive gift from us!
Celebrate
One thing we love to do is to CELEBRATE our Summer Staff! We are so thankful for you and we can’t wait to get to know you better and watch you grow!
We wanted to do a staff shoutout to one of our new staffers, Owen Lowrance! Owen is a student at Dalton State College in Dalton, Georgia and will be serving as a Pack Leader this Summer!
“My name is Owen Lowrance, and I’m a freshman at Dalton State. I have the privilege of serving as a 6th-grade boys small group leader at my church. This summer, I’m excited to make new friends, travel the country in the vans, share the gospel, and master the church clap! I’ve heard some amazing stories from previous summers by friends (and my sister) ranging from the silly adventures and the heartfelt moments with campers and I thought it would be an amazing opportunity to try.””
